Sa’id Vakili is an accomplished attorney presently based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area with more than 20 years of experience. As a founding Partner with Vakili & Leus LLP, Sa’id specializes in serving businesses and individuals in a diverse assortment of legal areas.

Sa’id Vakili has managed cases involving business disputes and business torts, intellectual property disputes, shareholder disputes, employment claims, and complex contracts. He has also successfully litigated injury tort claims, including those arising under maritime and aviation law.

Due in part to a significantly international clientele, Vakili & Leus LLP provide legal services in Farsi, Chinese (Mandarin), Korean, and Tagalog. They have worked with clients from the the Gulf States, the Middle and Near East, North Africa, Europe, the Far East and South America. Sa’id Vakili is admitted and actively licensed in California, New York, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C. Additionally, Sa’id has experience managing cases in multiple other jurisdictions through partnerships with local law firms, and he has served clients accordingly in Arizona, Nevada, South Dakota, Florida, Virginia, and Ohio.

Born to an Iranian father and American mother of Irish-German descent, Sa’id Vakili grew up in Michigan before relocating to California and then New York City to complete his higher education. Originally interesting in joining the foreign service as a diplomat, Sa’id eventually chose to enroll in night classes in order to complete his legal degree. Sa’id’s education provided him the opportunity to study and work in Europe, where he completed courses in London, as well as Aix-en-Provence. Upon his return to the United States, Sa’id spent a couple of years working for a special interest group in New York before heading back to California. After working with a small firm for some time, Sa’id Vakili and his wife established their own private practice in the South Bay.

Since founding Vakili & Leus LLP in 1995, the firm has grown to include six highly decorated attorneys. Sa’id Vakili takes particular pride in the remarkable team, which is unlike any of its size in the region.

Sa’id Vakili holds a J.D. from the Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. He also earned an M.A. from Columbia University in Middle Eastern Studies his B.A. from Pace University.
